第二篇 蒙揀選、受對付、被破碎
壹 雅各蒙神揀選;因此,在雅各身上我們看見神的揀選:
貳 雅各的一生代表神的對付,雅各的神是對付的神:
叁 創世記三十二章二十二至三十二節敍述雅各一生中緊要並關鍵性的經歷——他被破碎:
第三篇 為著神的建造而變化
壹 我們需要被這思想光照並充分浸透:神在宇宙中只作一件事,就是建造祂永遠的居所——伯特利——創二八10~22,太十六18,弗二21~22,啟二一2~
貳 雅各這個在神變化手下的人,代表那為著神的建造而變化的生活——創三二28,三五10、15:
第四篇 伯特利的實際,以及生出基督作為苦難之子和右手之子
壹 在創世記三十五章,伯特利的異象再次出現;不過,這次不是一個夢,乃是一個實際:
貳 便雅憫的出生,預表生出基督作為苦難之子和右手之子:
第五篇 長子名分
壹 因為神造人有祂的形像以彰顯祂,並借著運用祂的管治權管理萬有以代表祂,所以每一個人與生俱來都有權利(長子名分),就是生來而有彰顯神並代表神的權利;然而,每一個墮落的人都因著向神獨立,而出賣了這權利。
貳 在聖經裡,長子名分是長子特殊的分;照著全本聖經來看,長子名分包含雙分地土、祭司職分和君王職分。
叁 在創世以前,神就揀選並預定雅各得著長子的名分:
肆 神原有意將長子名分賜給長子流便,但流便因著污穢失去了長子名分;約瑟逃避了那種污穢,長子名分就從流便轉移給他,他就得著雙分地土。
伍 按照申命記二十章一至二十節與二十一章十五至十七節,就屬靈一面說,爭戰與長子名分有關,因為我們只有借著爭戰才能保守長子名分:
陸 路得記給我們看見,波阿斯(預表基督)如何贖回了路得(預表蒙救贖的召會)和她的長子名分:
柒 在馬太二十一章二十八至三十一節,我們看見長子名分從以色列轉移給召會:
捌 對於在基督裡的信徒,失去的長子名分已經在新約的禧年裡得著恢復:
玖 希伯來十二章十六節警告信徒不要象“以掃……因一口食物把自己長子的名分賣了”:
第六篇 成熟的過程
壹 創世記三十七至四十五章是雅各成熟過程的記載:
貳 在雅歌六章十三節,基督的佳偶經過變化的各階段,在基督生命的成熟裡,成為書拉密女,就是基督的複製、複本,配得過祂,好與祂成為婚配:
叁 神聖的種子已經撒在我們裡面,我們需要經歷那包含在這神聖種子裡之神聖生命和神聖性情的發展,使我們得以豐富地進入永遠的國:
肆 保羅在希伯來書中的負擔,乃是要把信徒從救恩的起初階段帶出來,而達到成熟:
伍 保羅盡職的目標,乃是要將各人在基督裡成熟地獻上,好為著一個新人:
第七篇 約瑟的一生乃是基督一生的翻版,以及生活如生命的禾捆和發光的星
壹 約瑟的一生,在以下各方面乃是基督一生的翻版:
貳 約瑟這個“作夢的”,照著神的眼光,夢見祂的子民乃是滿了生命的禾捆,也是滿了光的天體:
叁 約瑟的夢支配他的一生,並引導他的行為:
第八篇 約瑟——成熟生命掌權的一面
壹 按照屬靈的經歷,雅各和約瑟乃是一個人;約瑟代表成熟的以色列掌權的一面,就是基督構成在雅各成熟的性情裡;作為由基督這完全者所構成的成熟聖徒,雅各借著約瑟掌權
貳 約瑟一生的記載乃是那靈管治的啟示,因為那靈的管治乃是成熟聖徒掌權的一面;那靈的管治(在生命中作王的生活,就是在神國的實際裡,受神聖生命約束並限制),比那靈任何其他方面都高:
叁 約瑟因著受苦並否認己,得了生命供應的豐富;百姓為了要從約瑟得糧,必須付上四種代價:他們的銀子,他們的牲畜,他們的田地,以及他們自己:
第九篇 祝福
壹 變化乃是在我們天然生命裡新陳代謝的改變;成熟乃是被那改變我們的神聖生命所充滿;祝福乃是生命的滿溢:
貳 雅各成熟最有力的標記乃是他祝福別人:
叁 祝福的原則乃是位分大的祝福位分小的:
肆 祝福的意義,乃是神借著人生命成熟而有的滿溢:
伍 聖經中第一個祝福的事例,乃是麥基洗德祝福亞伯拉罕;麥基洗德是基督的預表:
陸 在民數記六章二十二至二十七節,我們看見祭司祝福的表樣;這祝福既不是舊約的福分,也不是新約的福分,乃是三一神永遠的福分,就是三一神在祂神聖的三一裡,將祂自己分賜到我們裡面,作我們的享受:
柒 使徒保羅的祝福見於林後十三章十四節——“願主耶穌基督的恩,神的愛,聖靈的交通,與你們眾人同在”:
捌 主的祝福除去人天然的操縱:
玖 雅各抓奪的手最終成了祝福的手:
拾 在創世記四十九章,雅各帶著祝福說預言論到他的十二個兒子時,他乃是一個神人,就是一個為神所充滿、構成、浸透、甚至重組的人;無論他思想什麼,都是神的思想;無論他發表什麼意見,都是神的意見:
第十篇 雅各用祝福說預言(一)
壹 雅各的十二個兒子至終成了以色列的十二支派,是那作為神的家(神的以色列)之召會的預表,而神的家是由所有信徒組成的:
貳 關於流便的預言,乃是關於肉體情欲之污穢的警告;關於西緬和利未的預言,乃是關於天然性情之毀壞的警告:
叁 關於猶大的預言,描繪出四福音裡的基督(福音的內容);關於西布倫的預言,描繪出使徒行傳裡福音的輸出(被聖靈的風推動);關於以薩迦的預言,描繪出書信中召會生活的實行(為著神的建造):
肆 關於猶大(四福音裡的福音)、西布倫(使徒行傳裡福音的傳揚)和以薩迦(召會生活應驗在新約其他書卷裡)的總結,見於申命記三十三章十九節,那裡說到要將萬民(列國)召到山上(表徵神的國,在那裡他們要獻公義的祭,也要享受海裡的豐富(指召會,主要是由外邦信徒組成,並沙中所藏的珍寶(指隱藏在地裡的國度;這表示,福音、福音的傳揚以及召會生活(福音的結果),帶進召會生活和國度生活的享受。
第十一篇 雅各用祝福說預言(二)
壹 關於但背道的預言,指明雅各擔心會有分裂敬拜中心的設立:

Message Five The Birthright
I. Since God created man to express Him with His image and torepresent Him by exercising His dominion over all things, by birthevery human being has a birthright—the right by birth to expressGod and represent Him; however, every fallen person has sold thisbirthright by being independent of God.
II. In the Bible the birthright is the special portion of the firstborn;according to the Bible as a whole, the birthright includes a doubleportion of the land, the priesthood, and the kingship.
III. Before the foundation of the world, God chose and predestinatedJacob to have the birthright:
IV. God had intended to give the birthright to Reuben, the firstborn,but Reuben lost it because of his defilement; the birthright wasshifted from Reuben to Joseph, who fled from that kind of defilementand received a double portion of the land
